Neapolitan Ice Cream Pizza T-Shirt

I grew up eating pizza hut. If it wasn't one of their greasy pan pizzas then it was whatever pizza shop was nearest to our house. I hadn't a clue there were different styles. And certainly hadn't a clue what Neapolitan meant. Well, other than the ice cream. You know that wonderful combo of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry? Aligned in their neat rows. I loved that as a kid.

So when I read about Neapolitan style, the image that came to mind wasn't the leopard spotted puffy crusted pizzas with bright San Marzano sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil leaves. It was a slice of pizza with Neapolitan ice cream on top. So I created this digital painting to match my imagination and misinterpretation. Of course, I decided to put Neapolitan ice cream on an actual Neapolitan slice, since now I know what it is. If you like the design, check out the Product Details below:
